For immediate shipment, payment may be made online via credit or bank card. Personal checks are accepted, but will be subject to a holding period for new clients.
Standard domestic shipping is free on all orders
This means, at minimum, insured first-class mail for coins/antiquities and media mail for books/records, though some orders may be complimentarily upgraded to higher service tiers to meet our insurance requirements. Most items are shipped within one day of payment, excepting weekend purchases, which generally ship Monday.
Expedited (1-2 day) domestic delivery is available for $35
Please note this may not be possible on unusually heavy items (such as multi-volume book sets).
We are prohibited by law from shipping coins to any address in the state of Minnesota due to their “bullion” coin law. This law prohibits coin dealers not licensed with the State of Minnesota from mailing coins to any address within the state. We are greatly distressed by the negative consequences of this moronic legislation. For more information, click here.
Full return privilege
All items may be returned for a full refund if not satisfied within seven (7) days of receipt, provided they remain in the same condition as when sold. Please e-mail us if you would like to return an item or cancel an order.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.
Ancient coin buyback guarantee
After the expiration of the return period, ancient coins will have a standing buyback offer at eighty-five percent (85%) of the purchase price for 12 months after the purchase date. Please contact us for buyback offers after this point.
We collect sales tax on all orders shipped to California as required by law. Numismatic purchases over $1,500 are exempt; if you live in California and wish to place an order that would qualify for such an exemption, please contact us as our software is currently unable to apply this automatically.
Many of our sold items are preserved in our sales archive. This grants future viewers the opportunity to examine images, descriptions and prices, but no information regarding the purchasing party or date of sale.
Terms of Service
Website registration with a valid e-mail address is required to place an order. We reserve the right to contact new customers to verify orders in an effort to prevent fraud.
We do not sell or otherwise distribute customer information to anyone. Online transactions are handled by a third-party processor; we do not receive your credit card details.
