Rainy Days in LA

Posted by Kyle Knapp on

Hello all and welcome to our first blog! We've made it through another bout of heavy rain here in Los Angeles, and though our parking lot is a bit puddly, our store is well-sheltered by the fabulous architecture here at One Santa Fe, and our books remain safe and dry.

Important new arrivals to the shop this week include The Captive Mind, an essential examination of the choices faced in totalitarian political cultures; The Earth Dies Streaming, an important collection of pieces from the former film critic of n+1; and The Prophet, one of the most widely-translated prose poems on life and the human condition.

We're excited to announce we'll have a booth (maybe more of a tent?) at the upcoming LA Times Festival of Books, to be held on the USC campus April 20-21. Stop by and say hello!

If you've not already done so, please find us on YouTube, where we'll be posting new book reviews every two weeks or so. Have fun reading, and we hope to see you soon!
